How to Raise a Grievance

  1. Approach the Stock Broker at the designated Investor Grievance e-mail ID — [email protected]. We will strive to redress the grievance immediately, but not later than 30 days of receipt.
  2. Approach the Stock Exchange using the grievance mechanism mentioned on the website of the respective exchange.
  3. File a complaint on SEBI SCORES (scores.sebi.gov.in) or through the Smart ODR portal (smartodr.in) for formal redressal.

The complaint resolution process at the Stock Exchange is available on the website of the respective exchange. Complaints are generally resolved within 30 days from receipt.

Escalation & Investor Protection

  • If there is no amicable resolution, the matter is referred to the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC).
  • On receipt of a GRC order in favour of the investor, the funds of the stock broker are debited as per the directions in the order.
  • Investors may be eligible for interim relief from the Investor Protection Fund (IPF) — 50% of the GRC order amount or ₹2 lakhs, whichever is less — after providing an undertaking.
  • If the stock broker is aggrieved by the GRC order, it may avail arbitration within the prescribed timelines.
